DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR...

Where are you putting yourself? What spaces are you still going into, even though you know it's not the space for you. Do you find yourself checking in on people on social media, Watching their stories, Reading their posts, Checking out their photos, Listening to their videos, Investing your time into them, Even though you sit there and judge them, Sit there and roll your eyes at them, Sit there and think 'Whatever' Or anything that they share, you feel triggered by. Gosh even if they just trigger you in some way just by looking at them. If this is the case. STOP! Do yourself a favour and stop! You are actually doing yourself a disservice by doing so, But investing some of your time by checking in, When in actual fact, that time of yours could be used to focus on something that you enjoy, Focus that time and energy on doing something for you. If someone triggers you - and you keep checking in, Ask yourself 'Why' What is it about this person that rubs you up the wrong way. What are they doing? What do they have? What is it about them...? You may just find that there is something in them that you either A: Want for yourself or B: Something about them that you don't like, which can usually be something you do yourself. It's a good chance to reflect on self in these moments. The thing is, all they are doing is showing up for themselves, All they are doing is focusing on their stuff. So it's important for you to do the same yourself. If someone inspires you - that's a good feeling and you want to learn more from them - stay in that space. If someone doesn't trigger or inspire you - that's just indifference, they have no effect on you. Yet if someone triggers you - that's a good place for you to look within for yourself. So much growth for yourself can be done in these place. But do yourself a favour and stop checking in... you get nowhere by doing so. You're just wasting so much time and energy in the places that aren't for you. You're the only one choosing to be in those spaces. And you get to choose to come out of them too. When you do, when you allow yourself to stop being in spaces that don't feed you and only make you feel bla inside, You actually start to feel lighter, you have more energy, a clearer head, And that's where you get to stretch yourself in your own growth, in your own life, Simply by focusing on you first.
