Drop the commercial ideal of what a perfect woman is...

More than anything, I would love to see women drop the commercial ideal of what a perfect woman is supposed to look and act like. And know that when they look in the mirror, they are just right, just as they are. The only way to remove this ideal body from your mind, is to shift your mindset, Shift the idea of what perfect looks like, Shift what you now see as important in your life, Shift into a space of owning all parts of you.

I’m a firm believer in change what you can if that’s what you really want for yourself, And accept all that you can’t change.

I could choose to change my crooked tooth, Yet instead I took the time and chose to accept it as part of what makes me, me. I can’t make my eye match the size of the other, (haha something you probably will never notice - just me) So acceptance of it is what it had to be. I’m not a fan of the extra cushion around my waist, So I choose to do something about it in a healthy and beneficial way.

I get that no matter what people say to you, You can still feel a certain way about yourself, But I would love to see you put the time into trying to shift how you see yourself.

Trust me, I know what it’s like to not appreciate so many aspects of me. But I also know that you can actually change it, I did and I will continue to do so, Because there are days where certain situations will bring something up for me, And I have to revisit that part and put time into reminding myself that I’m ok just as I am. And you are too my friend, you are too.

When you can accept your lines, Your wrinkles, Your grey hair, Your IM-PERFECTions The noise of others opinions, photos, won’t trigger you, You will be able to appreciate them also.
