LET YOUR BODY GUIDE YOU TO HAPPINESS

The body begins to ache, The jaw tightens, The stomach feels unsettled, The tension throughout your body is hard. You try to relax, yet nothing soothes the aches and pains. Your body is unhappy. And so you say to yourself, I must eat better, I must start excising, either begin or add more I must mediate, do yoga.... I MUST, I MUST, I MUST And then....then everything will be better. Then you will feel happy. Although they are good for you, this I do not deny And we all need good food and exercise, absolutely. But...adding more into your life on top of, isn't the answer. If you go forth and add that onto a stressed body, I believe you won't see the results you're wishing for. A stressed body does not receive anything well. The aches and pains you feel, many are due to what you're holding onto. Mentally, physically, emotionally, energetically What you're holding onto for dear life, scared and afraid to let go of. Your body is screaming at you to 'EXPRESS YOURSELF' Your body is asking you to listen to it. Your body is asking you to voice what you need and require for you and your world. Your body is asking you to stop abandoning yourself for other peoples wants and needs. Your body is asking you to remove all unwanted energy that serves you in no way. Your body is asking you to take note of what brings you the warm comforts, the fun, the sizzle to life. Your body will not be happy until you choose to be kind to it, honour it and damn well love it. The moments we stop and listen to what our body is sharing with us, Are the moments we begin to feel the aches and pains soften. Our body knows what's best for us, more than our mind does, Your body is not asking a lot from you, But it is asking you for your honesty so it can give you what you so deeply desire for yourself and life. Let your body guide you to your happiness.
