POEM: BARING IT ALL

As the lids of her eyes closed, She set off on her journey through her minds eye. Ever so slowly at first, dipping one toe into her dreams, into her desires, Checking to see if it was safe to explore these parts of her. With every inhale, hope swept over her, With every exhale, she grounded more and more into her self and her truth, Every step she took, her world in her minds eye opened up. Baring it all, she danced, As the warm breeze wrapped around her naked body, she felt the sense of freedom. Visions of her art painted her thoughts, Images, words, conversations so honest, etched into her whole being. Moments of music and laughter echoing from the rooms of her home, From every soul who entered her space. Moments of peace that silenced the noise of the world and brought breath back into her soul. The wildness within her craving to be brought to the surface for herself to witness once again, Her natural state of being never left her, it was only covered by a veil, Waiting ever so patiently to be pulled back, exposed and lived.
