Separation From Ones Self.

We need to look at separating ourselves from our mind, our thoughts, and simply just feel into it all. When we work from our mind and not our heart or our gut, we can over think it, we can allow those, that are outside of us, external elements, to play a huge part in our decisions.
When you do so, you're not truly living the way you truly wish for and you can feel it. That tension inside of you, yearning for more, to feel more, to be more, to have more, to see more, to do more...it's turning around inside of you like concrete being mixed, it's heavy and mucky and then it sets. Until you decide to smash it and let it all out.
There are so many things people wish to do in their lives, but they're holding back...I'll put my own hand up and say, I myself am doing this too... What would it take to break that feeling inside of you, to set it free so you have the chance to really step into what you want to step into. What would it take?
Imagine if you could separate yourself from the situation you're in right now and take a step forward. Imagine if you could separate yourself from what others thought, said, or did right now and take a step forward. Imagine if you could separate yourself from you're current self, being, to take a step forward right now.
I know it all sounds crazy and weird and nuts, But it's something I've been doing myself lately. Separating myself from wanting to fall into temptation of things that fill a space yet aren't right for me...such as that nice chocolate cake with all the icing on the top, that just tastes so damn good...for a moment...because it's easy, it's comfort.
When we can learn to separate ourselves for moments throughout our day and just go with the feeling of what we really want for ourselves, we can take a step in the right direction...No matter what comes up for us, scarcity, frustration, fear...we separate ourselves from it, to do the things that we want to get done.
It helps you get on with things and over time doing those things that bring you joy, that you desire, simply become your norm.. your new normal.
Try it. Let you mind settle for a bit, let it rest and then just go for it - the light is green. Don't allow yourself to think about things, don't give yourself time to think about things too much, even if you start to think about those things, get your body in motion towards the things you know are right for you, don't let you mind take over your soul's desire.
