THE POWER OF YOUR CREATIVITY

One night in 2019, I was talking with my Dad on the phone, we were talking about business and I was sharing something I was doing in mine.

He said 'Ah I don't really understand what it is you're doing & how it all works'

And continued with 'I've always used my hands to do things, build things' (something along those lines)

It wasn't him not wanting to understand, it's just that it was so different to what he had known. I well, was simply still trying to figure it out myself - it was new to me too.

Fast forward a couple of years, when I started supporting women, I pulled back on my photography. I spent my days having conversations with women, which I fully enjoy (I LOVE talking to people & getting to know the depths of them). Yet after sometime I noticed I started to feel heavy, like I was wearing a weighted blanket...and I couldn't understand why.

Then one day as I was hanging out my washing...a quiet voice said 'You've stopped creating'

That's when the words my Dad had shared, really sunk in and made sense to me.

Using your hands, Creating with your hands,

Building something with your hands,

Letting what's in you, speak through you,

Connects you to you,

Connects you to your truth,

Connects you to your purpose.

Creativity isn't a luxury, it's a necessity that we all should and get to access,

It's our oxygen and it breaths more life into us,

It's gives meaning to our own world, bringing us more clarity.

It settles you, it calms you, it soothes you...it heals you.

Our world is changing and fast,

With more things being created that wants to pull us further away from our own creations,

Selling the idea of ease, of quick fixes, of pumping out more than we could ever humanly do ourselves.

Don't let...

Use your decrement on what can support you, without stripping you of your own natural abilities, your own natural creations.

The moment you stop connecting with your creativity, becomes a slow burn of disconnection with yourself & with the world you live.

Access your creativity. It's in every single one of us.

No one is exempt, you've just got to find what & where your creativity lies within you.

And boy, when you find it...use it, live it and share it.

Blend your creativity with your truth, your wisdom, your imagination & nature,

And ahhhhh, you'll hit gold & feel a connection like no other.
