THIS ONE'S FOR THE MEN...

Last week a guy friend of mine said he had read one of my posts and with humour said something along the lines of 'What's with all the female empowerment'...we all just laughed....yes I'm all about women's empowerment and well I can only speak from my perspective - as a woman, however sometimes I think, I think more like a man at times haha... I really appreciate conversations with men and how they look at things in life. Anyway... I know there are men on here following my page. And although I photograph and work with mainly woman, I feel I speak to humans - be you male or female...I believe we all feel and want for much the same. Please do tell me if I'm wrong on that. But I believe we all want for connection with others & self, love, happiness, peace, and a great life.... pretty simple right, haha ok not always, but it's worth taking a shot at it every day don't ya think. Life has a heartbeat (up & down) More than anything, I'd love to see strength & connection within families, beautiful relationships with your children, partner, parents, siblings, friends and to do so, it starts with self. A good relationship with self. There's so much out there for women....so much, which is amazing. And we're starting to see things out there for men too, but I believe there is room for more. There is so much goodness in so many of you guys (& you girls too ) out there that it would be so amazing for you to see it for yourself. And once you do, once you see all that you have within you, damn it changes everything, on all levels in so many areas of your life. To learn and to grow, it's important to surround yourself with those who have walked a path themselves, who have made a change for themselves and who have seen both sides to life, but more so to learn from those in which you feel connected to, because we all relate to different people for different reasons and it's about finding the right community for you. So to any of you guys out there who feel there's more for you in life, you wish for more, maybe you feel blocked in some way, wish you could express yourself in a way that feels good to you, want to heal or strengthen relationships, maybe you feel like your life is only about challenges and very little else....If so I thought I'd share some of the guys who are out there doing the work in supporting the men in our world. If it's for you, check them out, find your people. You get to look after & honour yourself & your life too.
