Wahine Ataahua.

Wahine ataahua.

Te Amorangi thank you for trusting in me to photograph you again in a way that speaks to you. You allowed your wairua to come through every image. I'm honoured that you shared your story with me and although I didn't know you many years ago, I can feel the changes you have been through. Being in your presence is both calming and uplifting - so thank you.

I first photographed Amor in my 'body diversity' project earlier this year with a group of other amazing woman. Afterwards Amor felt it would be very special for her to celebrate the woman she has become with her own personal photoshoot and I enjoyed every moment creating portraits for her.

Her husband surprised her one day on her return from being away, by hanging her portrait on their wall where he could see it everyday and be proud of the woman and wife that she is. I love the appreciation he has for her, it's just beautiful.

P.S . How do you wish to be photographed? If a portrait like this speaks to you, I'd love to hear from you.

There are only limited spaces available for 2018, so private message me now for more information.
