WHAT DO YOU WANT YOUR NORMAL TO BE?
What others class as normal, doesn’t mean it is. Just because the majority of people are doing, saying, being or having something, Doesn’t mean it has to be normal for you. I remember going to a Dr Libby evening a few years ago now and she mentioned that having period pains (don’t worry this isn’t a post about menstrual cycles) isn’t normal, Yet we all accept it to be, because we’ve been told that it’s normal and many experience this often. I used to think it was normal also, now I believe it’s not. Now, if I experience pain it’s simply because I’m stressed and not looking after my mind, body & soul - honestly….my body starts screaming at me….my body is always sending me messages.
It’s about looking at other area’s, ideas in life that we accept and class as normal. Gossip, Putting ourselves down, Putting other people down, To not praise ourselves for our achievements To not speak our truth, To dial ourselves down, To not stand out to much, To not think of ourselves as beautiful or enough, We accept this to be normal… Purely because we have accepted this for so many years, generations…that we feel it’s just the norm. But it’s not, well it doesn’t have to be.
None of it feels good, so why do we do this to ourselves and others. We all have the option, the choice to change what is normal for us. At times it can be challenging, I find it challenging at times. Yet when I can flip it, it makes me feel so much better.
If you’re anything like me, You want to speak your truth, You want to be proud and speak of your successes in life freely, You want to celebrate others, because that always makes you feel good. You want to be great with who you are as a human, You want to speak kindly to yourself and others. This my friends can become your new normal - you just have to start living it that way.
If you catch yourself doing, saying or being something that really doesn’t sit well with you, That strips your energy instead of lifting your vibration, Then start making changes as they arise. You get to choose your normal no matter what others normal is.
