Years ago when it was just my daughter Summa and I, we were eating dinner at our tiny, round dining room table one night, it had been falling to bits little by little and we were down to two chairs and a very wobbly table. I decided then it was time for a new one, however I didn't have the funds to buy one straight out, so I paid it off...it took me 3 years. Even though it was just the two of us, I brought a big one, one that was sturdy, one that would last forever and one that had 8 chairs.
If you don't create space for the things you want in your life, then the likelihood of it showing up could be quite slim. But then again, it could show up still, but if you haven't created the space, and you're just running with hope by squeezing it into a box full of shit that does nothing for you, that ways you down, and you feel like you're sitting on the top of the box trying to hold it all together...eventually the sides will start bursting at the seems, there will be a lot of tension and things will start to fall apart.
So make some room for what works for you,
For the things that bring you joy or growth,
For the things you want to do,
For the people you want to have in your life.
And stop holding on to what doesn't. Book time out in your calendar for those things instead of waiting til it shows up. Open that bank account for that thing you want to save up for. Make room in your home for that piece of furniture you love. What ever it may be for you get clearing and make some space.
