WHEN YOU FIND A GOOD RESTAURANT... Stop for a minute, Allow yourself to go all in with things. And stop half-pie'n the shit out of all of it, of life. When you decide to explore it all, You allow yourself to know the great depths of life, Of things, Of places, Of people. When you don't, you miss out on so much. Most of the goodness in things aren't really seen by standing on the outside looking in. The goodness is actually found by stepping right in, Immersing your whole self into all of it, To be able to see it all, Hear it all, Feel it all, Smell it all, Taste it all. It's like when you find a good restaurant. You don't carry on looking for something else, You walk in, You sit, You enjoy. You explore all there is to see, All that's on offer in that one space. Your mind, dancing around the menu, taken, with all there is to be enjoyed. Wondering where to start, yet excited to give it all a go. Knowing that you get to come back again and again to explore some more, Like it's a never ending meal of goodness. Yet, in life many don't allow themselves to really explore the full amount of something, They have their hands in so many different pies, Trying a bit of this and a bit of that, Yet not really truly enjoying all that's available in that one space. Letting their patience run away on them, thinking if they move faster it will be better. Taking little crumbs of many, instead of enjoying the whole menu. When you do this, When try a bit of this, and bit of that, You miss out on the fullness of what's possibly available. The little hidden gems that can only be discovered when you allow yourself to go all in with something. The gold is found in exploring all the flavours of that one thing, And maybe not each bite is pure goodness, but overall, The more you explore, The more you learn, The more you start to see the beauty of every single slice of life.
