Your Feelings Never Lie...

Just recently, I experienced something beautiful and nice, If you could imagine having the warmest blanket wrapped around you on the coldest of nights....the feeling, yeah, it was good, so good. I was excited, hopeful and ready.

Unfortunately something changed, it didn't last for long and I felt it in my body. My energy dropped and my body was aching. It felt so heavy, like I was having to really push myself through the day, My body was trying to tell me something, Yet I didn't want to listen, I just wanted to ignore what it was I was feeling so much, I wanted to stay hopeful, I wanted to not let my thoughts over take me, I wanted to have that good feeling back again. Yet there came a point, I just had to listen. I had to decide to speak my thoughts and what felt right for me in that moment. As soon as I made that decision, even if it meant risking anything that could be, I spoke. Then almost immediately, the tension in my body began to slip away....It felt like a brick had been lifted off of my chest and I could breath again....haha sounds so dramatic, but it's just what it felt like.

If you feel like you're only half-pie in with something - work, friendship, relationship, business, hobby...whatever it is...then I'd say it's a good time to have a really good think about what it is you really want for yourself. When you have one foot in and one foot out of something, you'll always be left holding on to hope, wondering, questioning, the tune won't be consistent and you won't be able to fully enjoy what is, for all that it is.

Yet when you are willing to have both feet in, you are fully present to all that could be, you're certain, you're relaxed, you're able to wear your heart on your sleeve freely and comfortably, you'll naturally meet others half way because it feels right to, you'll find time, make time and you'll be able to really enjoy every part of it...the music will be set to dance freely to.

Opportunities come and go, Sometimes you're ready for it, and it's not ready for you. And vice versa... Sometimes you've gotta try things, Sometimes you've gotta risk things, Either way, as always, you've gotta do what feels right for you. It may be too much for some people and not enough for others, And either way that's ok. Be thankful for what shows up, Be thankful for the time spent, Be thankful for any lessons you can take from it. More opportunities will present themselves when the time is right...so the saying goes.

Just always stay true to you.
