She just turned 19 at the end of December and I always wanted a portrait of her at 18, so with only a week or so to go, we spent a morning in the studio. This girl is the reason I started photography…she was my drive and still is, along with her brothers & sister.She is headstrong and tells you how it is, there’s no fluffing around with this girl.She is creative, talented and thrives in the outdoors – nature is good for her.Frie

Portraits of women is what I do right, but in December I was asked to photograph something a little different, something super special. My good friend Tiffany of Healthy Wealthy Wonderful was expecting her second child and asked if I would be like to be there for the birth and photograph it for them. I was so honoured that she asked me to document this special time for them, and as a mum myself, I know that you get into a zone and everything is just one big blur afterwards. S

Wow, I’ve been receiving messages daily regarding a post I put out on facebook about the book I’m wanting to publish. Messages of support & women all over NZ sharing their stories with me, which is amazing. Also a couple of people have asked, why am I wanting to publish a book like this…. So, I thought I’d share a bit about my own personal story with you all and why it means a lot for me to do this for other women out there. Above is a before and after photo of me…the same pe
