Why on earth would you have a portrait of yourself?

Don't you think it's a bit vain? People will think you love yourself to much....right!

Wrong! :)

Look, we tend to make up these stories in our head and it usually comes from worrying about what others will think of you. But deep down inside, you look at these portraits of others... You comment on them... You even give them a thumbs up or a heart... You think they look beautiful and... You think how nice it would be if I could have one like that of yourself too.

But something holds you back. That little voice, about what others will think, creeps in.

Why do we do this to ourselves? And it's not just about having portraits taken. We have these thoughts when we want to try something new,  Wear something a little different  Or maybe completely change our hairstyle. We hold ourselves back purely because of what others will think.

You may know, that I believe, that we have one life, and one life only. I believe in doing what feels right for you,  What makes you happy...no matter what.

If there's something you want to do in life - do it, find a way. If you want to own a beautiful portrait of yourself - do it. It will be a really nice reminder to you each day of the person you are, the journey you have been on & all the stories you have to share.

There is nothing wrong with loving & owning who you are.
